The 19th Annual Doggy Fun Day is Back!

Don't go barking up the wrong tree for a good time... Come on down to Queen's Park in New Westminster to check out the 19th annual Doggy Fun Day! We could go on and on about how much fun it's going to be. But, FURtunately, you can check it out for yourself on Sunday, August 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This year's FREE event will feature all the fun and games for pooches and their people. Doggy Fun Day is bringing back Bobbing for Wieners, NoseWork Demos, egg and spoon races and so much more. And, with more exciting vendors and charity booths, this year is going to be better than ever.

Although the event is free, there are raffles and 50/50 draws to raise money for the Volunteer Education and Assistance Team for Animals (VEATA). VEATA hosts Doggy Fun Day every year and is an animal welfare charity in Metro Vancouver. Their aim is to educate the public and to help as many animals and animal service groups as possible. What's not to love?

The New West community is filled with so many of our favourite furry friends and we would never miss the chance to spend the day with them! Especially at a location like Queen's Park, one of the many pet-friendly places in New West.
