Event | A Spirited Evening at the Former BC Distillery

Brewery District is proud to be a part of historic Sapperton and we celebrate the community's rich past, including the breweries and distilleries that were once located in this community.

Just minutes from The Brewery District (or one stop on the SkyTrain) you'll find 100 Braid Street, which has a storied past as part of the former BC Distillery and operates today as 100 Braid Street Studios. On Thursday, February 22nd, 100 Braid Street is turning back the clock to 1929 and hosting an evening of whisky tasting and celebration of their distillery past.

The event, 'A Spirited Evening at the BC Distillery', will include a whisky tasting by Central City Brewers. New Westminster City Archivist Barry Dykes will talk about the history of drink in New Westminster and local historian Jason Vanderhill will talk about the history of the BC Distillery.
